Peppermint Robotics, a Pune- and Austin-based robotics company building autonomous cleaning and material-handling robots, has raised INR 100 crore in a Pre-Series B funding round led by pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners, with participation from Asiana Fund.

The funding comes amid strong business growth, with the company recording nearly 6x revenue growth between FY24 and FY26 and expanding its presence to nine countries, with the US emerging as its largest market.

Peppermint builds industrial-grade autonomous robots powered by its proprietary Peppermint OS, combining in-house hardware, software, computer vision and LiDAR technology. Its robots are deployed across factories, hospitals, airports, warehouses, hotels and other commercial environments, helping businesses automate repetitive and labour-intensive cleaning operations.

The company has also achieved an important milestone in pharmaceutical robotics, with its cleanroom robot successfully passing qualification testing in an EU GMP cleanroom.

The fresh capital will support next-generation robotics development, manufacturing capacity expansion, the establishment of North American operations, global market expansion and strategic hiring.
