Warehousing is growing fast

Warehousing has become a core part of integrated logistics networks, driven by technology adoption and policy reform. Total warehouse stock reached an estimated 252.7 million square feet in 2020, up from around 208.6 million square feet in 2019, according to Statista, as the broader logistics sector crossed US$200 billion, with warehousing demand projected to keep growing at roughly 9% a year.
